Majority of Made in Japan ceramics excels with its irregular shapes, which are signs that it was hand made. The manufacturer is not trying to hide it, but the opposite. This design feels like the ceramics was made hundreds years ago by pottery masters somewhere far away in japanese mountains. This plate catches your eye with contrast of dark and shiny glaze with white and grey grains, which look like Milky way, and three large white dots on the periphery of the plate, which supports the idea of space with different sized planets.
